10.70 Data Loader release

The 10.70 release date is by region:

  • APAC: May 2, 2023 (11 PM AEST)

  • EMEA: May 3, 2023 (2 AM CEST)

  • NA: May 3, 2023 (5 PM PDT)

Release notes

The 10.70 Data Loader release brings Data Loader in sync with the latest Harmony code base.

In addition, beginning with version 10.70, upgrades of Data Loader on Windows now remove the directory C:\Program Files (x86)\Jitterbit Cloud Data Loader\UI\lib. This increases security, as any older JAR files are now removed. Before upgrading, back up any custom JAR files to restore post-upgrade.

Known issue

There is a known issue with the 10.70 Data Loader release for Windows:

  • Large number of Data Loader logs being generated

    • Summary: Running operations using the Windows version of Data Loader 10.70 results in a large number of logs being quickly generated in C:\Program Files (x86)\Jitterbit Cloud Data Loader\tomcat\logs\jitterbit cloud data loader tomcat server-stdout.<date>.log, causing its file size to grow very big.

    • Additional Information: The issue is caused by the absence of a file (logback.xml) that is normally present in the Data Loader installation. Note that the issue does not affect the macOS version.

    • Workaround: Upgrade to a version of Data Loader that is version 10.72 or later.
