Corrections

  • An earlier version of these release notes incorrectly stated that a new feature had been added to the Jitterbit Design Studio that was not included in the release:
    • New Feature: Added ability to select SQL compatibility for target or source so queries can be optimized for a specific database.

Release highlights

  • New Feature: Jitterbit Live - New on-premises gateway option is now available for customers. This allows enhanced security for Odata/custom API operations.

  • New Feature: Support for emojis in JSON documents.

  • New Feature: User preference (Edit > Preferences > Deploy) for allowing each deploy process to take place in the background, without the blocking progress dialog.

  • New Feature: Support for JMS Activities (Browse, Poll and Send/Publish) to allow the use of global data elements.

  • New Feature: LDAP Source and Target support for project and global variables.

Agent

  • New Feature: Support for emojis in JSON documents.

  • Fix: Fixed memory leak in the following formula builder methods: GetUTCFormattedDate, GetUTCFormattedDateTime, ConvertTimeZone, GetSalesforceTimestamp, SendEmailMessage.
  • Fix: Fixed problem that prevented JPKs with QuickBooks and JMS from being imported into the WMC.
  • Fix: Fixed NetSuite search UI on special objects: only relevant search options will be available.
  • Fix: Fixed problem with connecting to JSCH SFTP servers.
  • Security Enhancements: Upgraded commons-collections library.
  • Security Enhancements: groovy library has been upgraded.
  • Security Enhancements: groovy-xml library has been upgraded.
  • Security Enhancements: activemq-broker library has been upgraded.
  • Security Enhancements: activemq-client library has been upgraded.
  • Security Enhancements: Camel-core version has been upgraded.

Studio

  • New Feature: Added user preference (Edit > Preferences > Deploy) for allowing each deploy process to take place in the background, without the blocking progress dialog.
  • Improvement: The API Entity Operation wizard now warns the user that the Operation will only work for GET Entities if custom mappings are used.
  • Improvement: The Schedule Priority property has been removed from the UI.
  • Improvement: The selected mapping is now highlighted in the Transformation mapping tree.
  • Improvement: The Studio now automatically checks if a newer version of the Studio is available on startup.
  • Improvement: The Studio now provides a notification if a new agent version is available when the user opens a project.
  • Improvement: If a Transformation has a Salesforce Analytics Dataset as target, the Studio will not allow an Operation that uses that Transformation to be deployed, unless the Operation itself uses a Salesforce Analytics Dataset target.
  • Improvement: commons-collections library has been upgraded.
  • Improvement: Apache camel library has been upgraded.
  • Fix: Fixed NetSuite search response for inventory item.
  • Fix: Fixed problem with the display of plugin names in a project that has been downloaded from the Cloud.
